Offering GLP 1 injectable medication (Semaglutide) also known as Ozempic

Initial Telehealth: $50
8 week supply 489.00
Semaglutide is an injectable medication that is self administered once a week. You are started on a lower dose at first to monitor for side effects and allow your body to adjust to changes in blood sugar and blood insulin levels. This medication is not insulin. It works by slowing down the digestion of food making you feel fuller longer. Semaglutide has additional positive effects including improving blood pressure and cholesterol, which may decrease the amount of medication you will need to take daily. The average person loses up to 20% of body weight on this medication. If you have a personal or family history of Medullary thyroid cancer it is not recommended to take this medication. Ideally, while taking this medication, patients will learn new eating habits and realize that your body does not need as much energy/food as we typically get it. You do not necessarily need to take this medication for the rest of your life to sustain weight loss, but we do offer maintenance doses which are more cost effective and have still been show to have positive affects on appetite. The first month of this medication includes a consultation over telehealth and is $150. After the first month you are able to choose between a monthly auto-billed subscription of $325 (does not increase with dose) or pay $525 every 8-10 weeks for a larger vial of the medication. We will need to see you over telehealth for dose adjustments, however there are no additional charges for this. Typically patient's will request a dose increase weight there weight loss has hit a plateau greater than 60 days (less than 2 lb lost). However, you do not necessarily need to increase your dose in order to continue to lose weight. Dose increased happen after a minimum of 4 weeks on your current dose. Your telehealth provider will be happy to provide additional diet education and answer additional questions at that time. Patient's that are wanting to transfer to one of our providers for weight loss management will start at the initial consult price. We are not able to guarantee that you will be prescribed the same dose of Semaglutide that you are currently prescribed by an outside provider. Once you reach your ideal weight we do offer more economical price options for maintenance dosing. Average cost $200-250 every 8 weeks on this option. This will be auto-billed from your checking account/credit card every 8 weeks and the medication will be available for pick up at our office. Auto-billing for our discounted price medication requires a blank check and a credit card on file. If both payment methods are declined we will charge a $15 fee every 5 days for 30 days. In order to re-enter our program this balance will need to be paid in full in order to re-enter our program. We pre order our medications in order to make sure they are in stock and available to patients in a timely manner, therefore your assistance and cooperation with cancellations is appreciated. You are able to cancel your subscription by notifying us via email at Bridgeportwellnessinfo@gmail.com if you would like to cancel your membership and later decide to re-enter our weight loss program, you will need to start back at the lowest dose in order to prevent hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
